Yumbs Announces 5th Edition of Last Sunday Yumborghini Club Sessions,  A Curated Cultural Experience Returns with a New Location

Renowned Amapiano producer and DJ Yumbs returns with the fifth edition of his highly anticipated Last Sunday Yumborghini Club Sessions, a leading cultural experience in the world of Private School Amapiano. This milestone edition debuts at its new home, The Roof in Fourways, a venue chosen for its elevated atmosphere and synergy with the refined, community-first spirit that has come to define the Yumborghini movement.

Designed as an intimate experience for a select audience, Last Sundays goes beyond entertainment. It is a cultural moment , a deliberate intersection of sound, community and storytelling, where music is not only heard, but felt and understood.

A defining element of the series is its reputation for unveiling unreleased music. Guests are offered rare previews of new and experimental sounds, gaining early access to what may soon dominate national charts and dance floors. These exclusive moments allow attendees to witness the creative process up close, reinforcing Yumborghini Club’s commitment to placing fans at the forefront of Amapiano’s evolution.

At the centre of the evening, Yumbs will play a live Private School Amapiano mix, featuring unreleased material from his forthcoming project as well as beloved favourites from Soul Buddies, Yummy’s House Vol. 1 and Yummy’s House Vol. 2. Expect a sonic journey defined by layered instrumentation, warm log drums, and emotionally resonant progressions that speak directly to the genre’s global rise.

This edition will also feature a carefully curated lineup of leading innovators in the space, including Stixx, Mordecai, Zani, Tycoon, Pandemic Boyz and Zwayetoven. Each artist brings a distinct musical identity, contributing to a night that celebrates both the roots and future of Amapiano through collaboration and creativity.

“For me, Yumborghini Club isn’t about throwing a party, it’s about creating a space for my community,” says Yumbs. “This is for the people who believe in the music, who live for the culture, and who deserve a place where they can experience it in its purest form. We’re building a home for sound, connection and real movement.”

Far more than a listening session, Last Sundays is an immersive cultural gathering that champions authenticity, collaboration and artistic excellence. With curated visuals, elevated ambience, and meaningful engagement between artists and audience, the series continues to redefine how music is experienced and how culture is moved forward.
