An Inspired New Culinary Offering at Sec Restaurant

Since opening almost, a year ago, Sec Restaurant, has built a reputation for its contemporary yet welcoming approach to dining, which has inspired Chef Dario di Angeli to expand its offerings with a menu designed to take guests on a gastronomic journey. Curated with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients, the small-plate concept allows for a shared approach, encouraging guests to sample a variety of dishes.

“The new menu is all about diversity, bold flavours, and creative reinterpretations of classics,” says Chef Dario di Angeli, who also serves as General Manager of Clico Boutique Hotel. “We wanted to offer something for every palate, whether you love seafood, crave rich meats, or prefer plant-based options.”

Guests can enjoy standout dishes such as Springbok Tartare with Sticky Black Rice and Coconut Sauce, the elegantly plated Grilled Sea Bass with Dashi Foam and Shiitake Mushrooms, and the indulgent Chocolate Truffle Dessert with Hazelnut Mousse. Each dish is carefully balanced, with an emphasis on texture, taste, and presentation. The redesigned tasting menus also cater to various dietary requirements, ensuring inclusivity without compromising on innovation.

Authentic Neapolitan and American-Style Pizzas at 400 Degrees

Showcasing both Neapolitan and American-style pizzas, the new menu is a tribute to traditional techniques and premium ingredients. The Neapolitan-style pizzas feature a slow-fermented, airy crust, while the American-style offerings boast a crisp, thin base.

Signature selections include the Lombardian, topped with Prosciutto, Gorgonzola, Pears, and Honey, as well as the Verdure Rosse, a vegetarian delight featuring San Marzano tomato, roasted red peppers, Muhammara paste, and Parmesan. Beyond pizza, guests can indulge in handmade pastas, gourmet burgers, and signature Aquarelle risottos, each crafted with the same level of attention to detail and flavour complexity.
