Continuing the ongoing themes that have been seen throughout the curation partnership between the Kiko Kostadinov Studio and ASICS, the UB9-S GEL-DS TRAINER embodies the idea of nature’s imprint, combining the organic textures reclaimed from recycled materials.
The design features a striking contrast of opaque and bright colours, while matte finishes highlight the deeper connection between humanity and the natural world. The trainer’s upper, composed of layered materials, evokes the appearance of fossils and petrology, while moiré surfaces mimic the textures of everyday ready-made objects.
A sleek, lightweight construction designed for superior comfort and support can be found on the UB9-S GEL-DS TRAINER™ 14. Featuring a TRUSSTIC™ support system, the trainer delivers enhanced stability, while the rearfoot GEL™ technology helps improve impact absorption. The midsole’s tooling shape further elevates the design, offering comfortable cushioning properties.
Additionally, the UB9-S GEL-DS TRAINER™ 14 sneaker is crafted with sustainability in mind: at least 30% of the synthetic fiber used in the upper is made from recycled materials. The UB9-S GEL-DS TRAINER™ 14 is available in two colours, Midnight/purple oxide and Dark mustard/truffle grey.
