Clearwater Mall is setting the scene for an exciting May, offering a dynamic line-up of entertainment, wellness and music for all ages. From a nostalgic drive-in experience and an energising fitness session to an evening of live music, the Mall promises a month of memorable moments.
Drive-In Movie Nights
Rekindle the magic of cinema under the stars at Clearwater Mall’s Drive-In Movie Nights on Friday, 2 May and Saturday, 3 May, from 6pm to 10pm. Hosted at the Lifestyle Parking area, this pop-up cinema experience invites families and friends to enjoy classic and modern favourites from the comfort of their vehicles. With gates opening at 6pm, audiences can look forward to screenings of “Lady and the Tramp”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, “Happy Feet” and “Marley & Me”.
Tickets are R350 per vehicle and can be booked online. Delicious food from onsite vendors and mall restaurants will add flavour to the evening. This event proudly supports Dogs Trust SA, with proceeds helping the organisation in its mission to rescue and care for dogs across the country.
“We wanted to create a weekend that blends fun and fundraising,” said Prianka Singh Rogers, Marketing Manager at Clearwater Mall. “It’s a chance for the community to come together, enjoy some great films and make a difference.”
Fab Fit
Health enthusiasts can jumpstart their month with Fab Fit, Clearwater Mall’s high-energy fitness mash-up, on Saturday, 3 May from 8am to 9.30am in the Piazza – our last one until after the Winter chill. Presented in collaboration with Burn Fitness, the session begins with calming yoga before ramping up to a vigorous boxing-style HIIT workout.
Tickets are just R50, with each participant receiving a breakfast voucher for Doppio Zero, redeemable immediately after the class. Capacity is limited to 75 participants, so early booking is advised. Book here.

Live Music in the Piazza
Clearwater Mall’s Piazza will come alive with live music on Friday, 16 May, from 4pm to 9pm. Entry is free, and the evening features a diverse line-up of performances designed to entertain and delight. The schedule kicks off with a special performance by the McAuley House Marimba Band at 4pm, followed by the soulful Just Mia at 5pm and again at 7pm, and smooth saxophone sets by Barry at 6pm and 8pm.
Whether you’re stopping by for a drink, settling in for dinner or simply soaking up the atmosphere, the Piazza is the perfect setting. With top-notch dining options including RARE Steakhouse, Doppio Zero and Spur, guests can pair their evening with great food and relaxed vibes.
