Sunglass Hut Celebrates Confidence and Style at RoseFest 2025

This Women’s Month, Sunglass Hut joined forces with long-time brand ambassador Shekhinah to bring her annual RoseFest to life, a vibrant celebration

of music, style, and the powerful stories of women owning their stage. Against a backdrop of bold performances and heartfelt moments, RoseFest unfolded as a stage for confidence and self-expression. From the very first note to the final encore, the atmosphere was a seamless blend of sound and style, a reminder that the right pair of sunglasses can be as much a part of your signature as your voice, your lyrics, or your performance.

As part of the day’s celebrations, Sunglass Hut honoured each performing artist with customised sunglasses and matching cases, engraved with their names. More than a
gift, each pair was a nod to the confidence and style these artists embody, both on and off stage.

“For me, ‘Owning Your Moment’ is about standing fully in who I am – feeling seen, heard,
and unapologetic about the space I take up. Sunglass Hut has been the perfect partner in
that journey, giving me the confidence to show up boldly and shine in every room I walk into.” – Shekinah

Artists including Elaine, Zoe Modiga, Lia Butler, Zee Nxumalo, Pabi Cooper, Filah Lah
Lah, Rarri, K MAT, Chipego, Lord Kez, Zoe Modiga, Pona & Nkuley, and Shekhinah herself
took the stage and were each celebrated not only for their artistry but for the personal journeys that have brought them to this moment.

As the energy shifted from performance to presence, artists shared personal reflections on
what owning their moment means to them, a campaign theme that resonated far beyond the stage.

“Owning your moment means to show up as your boldest, your most authentic and your
most unique, courageous, powerful, sexy and most stylish self.”- Lord Kez
“To own your moment means fully embracing where you are, who you are, and how you
feel. For me, it was soaking in the sun at this year’s RoseFest ,somewhere between the
good music, my Ray-Bans, and a deep sense of divine femininity, I realised some joys are worth keeping forever.” – Zoe Modiga

“Owning my moment means being myself, accepting myself, and having the courage to
present who I am to the world — all while rocking my Oakleys and being okay with any

outcome because I’m content.” – Filah lah lah

“This is more than eyewear, it’s about visibility, style, and confidence,” said Earl Kopaledi,
Head of Marketing at Sunglass Hut “We’re proud to continue supporting voices like
Shekhinah’s and to amplify the next generation of talent with a lens of individuality.”
