Keeping The Ark’s Mission in Motion

Super Tyres recently donated and fitted four new tyres to The Ark KZN’s vehicle, helping the non-profit organisation continue providing essential transport services to the people it supports every day.

The Ark KZN, a Christian ministry based in the outer west of Durban, has been serving the community since 2001 by providing accommodation, meals, medical care and holistic support to young and older men working towards rebuilding their lives. The organisation relies on its vehicle to transport residents to hospitals and clinics, as well as to collect much-needed food donations.

Following an appeal for assistance, Super Tyres stepped in by supplying and fitting four new tyres, ensuring the vehicle can continue operating safely and reliably.

“The support from Super Tyres means so much more than simply replacing four tyres,” said Brandon Baird, Donations Officer at The Ark KZN. “It means we can continue getting our residents to important medical appointments and collecting food donations that help sustain our ministry. Every act of generosity like this allows us to continue serving our community with dignity, compassion and hope. We are incredibly grateful for Super Tyres’ kindness and willingness to make a tangible difference.”

Dean Horn, Managing Director of Super Tyres, said supporting organisations that make a meaningful difference in their communities is an important part of the company’s commitment to giving back.

“We understand that reliable transport is often the lifeline that enables organisations like The Ark KZN to continue the incredible work they do every day,” said Horn. “By helping keep their vehicle safely on the road, we hope to play a small part in supporting the vital services they provide to those who need them most. It is a privilege to contribute to an organisation that is changing lives within our community.”
