1 of 1,685 Tumi’s Radio Live II: The Decks Are Hers | 20 Female Dj’s – 20 Minute Sets

Tumi’s Radio Live is an event curated and hosted by Tumi. For the second edition, titled The Decks Are Hers, Tumi was inspired by the 20,000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956.

As we mark seven decades since that historic moment, she wanted to create a platform that pays homage to those women by giving 20 female DJs the opportunity to take over the decks for the entire night. The idea is to celebrate women, create opportunities for female talent, and give women a space to showcase their skills in an industry and environment that has traditionally been male-dominated.

The 20 selected DJs will be announced on Sunday.
