DreamTeam Set to Light Up Dubane Summer Break Stage, Headlined by Young Stunna & Blxckie

As Durban continues to cement its status as South Africa’s premier coastal destination, Durban-born hip hop duo DreamTeam (Lusaso “Saso” Ngcobo and Trevor “Trey” Sineke) are set to bring their celebrated on-stage synergy as hosts of the annual Dubane Summer Break, headlined by Young Stunna and Blxckie on Sunday, 26 April 2026, at uShaka Marine World.

The festival’s eclectic lineup also features performances from Goldmax & Dankie Boi, Beast, Dladla Mshunqisi, Buko & DJ Sox, Loki, Louis Ribbs, and Tobzela, with PoloB curating the day’s energy alongside DreamTeam.

“As artists born and bred in Durban, it’s always rewarding to host festivals that unite families and youth, while celebrating the culture and vibrancy of the city we love,” said DreamTeam.

Recently ranked among the world’s top destinations by Time Out Worldwide, Durban secured 14th place in the ‘Best Places to Travel in 2026’, ahead of Saint Helena Island (15th) and Barra dos Remédios (16th). The Dubane Summer Break contributes to the city’s upward trajectory, drawing thousands of visitors while amplifying Durban’s cultural footprint on the national stage.

“Durban Tourism remains committed to strengthening key tourism drivers within the city. Events such as Dubane Summer Break are a testament to this vision. This signature experience continues to elevate Durban’s profile as a leading lifestyle and entertainment destination,” said Melusi Khumalo, Regional Marketing Manager at Durban Tourism.

YOUNG STUNNA

More than a music festival, Dubane Summer Break spotlights local talent, celebrates the city’s rich cultural diversity, and creates part-time opportunities for youth in creative roles, giving back to the communities that nurture Durban’s vibrant arts and entertainment ecosystem.

Set against the backdrop of uShaka Marine World, one of Durban’s most iconic leisure destinations for over 25 years, the festival offers a secure, family-friendly environment with lifeguard-patrolled areas, controlled access, and comprehensive on-site safety measures, blending entertainment with peace of mind for attendees.
