KZN Women in Business (KZNWIB) held their May networking event on Thursday, 7 May, from 8:00–10:30am at the Hellenic Community Centre. Ladies enjoyed a delicious breakfast, received a complimentary gift, browsed expo tables and connected with fellow businesswomen during group networking sessions.
The highlight of the morning was an inspirational talk entitled: ‘Building purpose beyond profit’
presented by Lea Wimble. Attendees especially loved her explanation of “Giftology” – the science of receiving gifts, giving gifts, and ultimately being the gift yourself. Through her message of collaboration, courage, and overcoming criticism, she encouraged ladies to remain authentic in all that they do and reminded them that the seeds you sow are the seeds you grow – and you replicate what you celebrate.
