Behind the brand’s success: meticulous scouting amongs Champagne’s Récoltants
Manipulants and rare vineyards to export unparalleled excellence across the ocean to the
shores of beautiful Africa.
In the global luxury beverage landscape, today’s consumer no longer seek mere brand recognition,
but authenticity, rarity, and a profound connection to the terroir. It is upon this precise market
premise that the vision of Caviar Champagne was brought into existence-With trendy and chic
serigraphic printed purple and gold bottles for the BRUT collection and a glossy black with gold for
limited quantities of BLANC DE BLANCS, this raising the level of luxurious aesthetics.
An enterprise was born from the intuition and expertise of professionals determined to forge an
unprecedented commercial and cultural axis between Europe’s historic wine regions and Africa’s
most exclusive markets.
The project’s origins lie in a three year rigorous process of on-the-ground research. The goal was
not to tap into the mass distribution of the big commercial Maisons, but rather to penetrate the most
authentic fabric of the French Champagne region: that of the Récoltants Manipulants. These
independent winemakers represent the artisanal aristocracy of Champagne, managing the entire
production cycle from vineyard to bottle. The results are limited editions that faithfully mirror
individual terroirs, characterized by low-volume production and, consequently, exceptionally high
added value.
During this oenological scouting, the narrative and commercial breakthrough occurred in the dim
light of historic underground cellars. There, the sommeliers selected true rare pearls: elite cuvées
and vintages left to age on their lees, some for over eleven years. These products boast
extraordinary structural complexity, with a mineral core and a fine perlage capable of ranking at the very top of international critical acclaim.

The Italian Masterpiece: St Erasmo Prosecco
Expanding the portfolio of rare sparkles, Caviar Champagne has introduced an equally
extraordinary Italian narrative to the South African market, St Erasmo Prosecco. This is not
ordinary Prosecco, it stands alone as the only Prosecco in the world produced entirely on an island.
Since the 1600’s, this specific vineyard supplied the Doge of Venice, the powerful head of the
oligarchy of Venice. Centuries later, the same prestigious tradition continued as Erasmo supplied the
Belgian Royal House with its world class Prosecco. With limited production of 30 000 bottles per
annum, being fortunate enough to acquire this luxury in Africa is a treat that one should not
disregard.
Cultivated from the finest heritage Glera grapes without a single drop of pesticides, St Erasmo is a
testament to pure, uncompromised viticulture. The island’s unique microclimate, swept by coastal
winds, infuses the vines with a distinctively savory, saline flavor profile literally capturing the
crisp essence of the sea in every bottle. It represents an elite class of Venetian sparkling wine,
offering a sharp, sophisticated, and marine-driven alternative for the global connoisseur.
