In 2026, KWV once again reinforced its position as The World’s Most Awarded Brandy, collecting multiple accolades across two of the spirits industry’s most respected competitions: the International Spirits Challenge and the World Brandy Awards.
At the International Spirits Challenge, KWV’s portfolio delivered an outstanding performance, securing five Double Gold medals and three Gold medals across its range. Further recognition followed at the World Brandy Awards, where KWV earned a Gold & Style Winner title. While individual awards are worth celebrating, it is the consistency behind them that matters most.

For over 100 years, KWV has remained committed to the art and science of brandy making. From carefully selected grapes and meticulous maturation to generations of expertise passed down through their cellars, every bottle reflects a relentless pursuit of quality.
These results are not only a testament to their master distillers, blenders and cellar teams, but also to the enduring reputation of South African brandy on the global stage. Year after year, competition after competition, KWV continues to demonstrate why South Africa remains one of the world’s leading brandy-producing nations.
Being recognised by international judging panels is an honour. Doing so consistently, across multiple products and over decades, is what builds a legacy.
As KWV celebrates another successful awards season, they remain focused on what has always driven them: craftsmanship without compromise, innovation rooted in heritage, and a commitment to producing brandies that can stand proudly amongst the finest spirits in the world.
