Microsoft South Africa Partners with Afrika Tikkun to Launch ICT Academy – Going Mobile in Olievenhoutbosch

Leading youth development agency, Afrika Tikkun is proud to partner with Microsoft South Africa to launch the ICT Academy—Going Mobile initiative in Olievenhoutbosch.

This forward-thinking program is designed to empower young people currently without jobs by equipping them with vital Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills, enabling them to forge sustainable careers within the rapidly evolving technology sector.

Running until June 2025, the initiative aims to address the pressing issue of youth unemployment in South Africa. Through practical training and real-world application, participants will gain access to crucial technical competencies that can open doors to opportunities in ICT and beyond.

Microsoft’s commitment goes beyond the advancement of technology. The company is dedicated to building and operating data centers that not only enhance technological innovation but also address societal challenges. By partnering with Afrika Tikkun, Microsoft continues its mission to create tangible benefits for local communities, ensuring that the transformative power of technology reaches those who need it most.
