The HONOR 600 Lite has officially landed in Mzansi, bringing together AI-powered camera, long-lasting battery life and a sleek, premium Metal-shield Unibody structure, that feels as good as it performs.
Unveiled today in Bryanston, the launch reflected the natural rhythm of the device itself – light, responsive and designed to move. South Africa’s trendsetters, media and influencers, including, Hope Mbhele, William KRM, Liema, DJ Tira, Lindough, Thembi Seete, Ashley Ogle, and Chad Jones experienced it in real time, from courtside moments to spontaneous content creation. With YFM broadcasting live on The Home Run with Ayanda MVP, the atmosphere carried an easy confidence, mirroring a phone built to keep up without trying too hard.
Sporting personalities added to the energy on and off the court, with familiar names like Themba Zwane, Ronwen Williams and Vincent Pule stepping into the moment, blending competition with content and keeping the crowd engaged between matches.
An Exceptional Camera That Stays Ready
At the centre of the HONOR 600 Lite’s appeal is a 108MP ultra-clear camera system, evolving from the HONOR 400 Lite to deliver sharper detail, improved clarity and more consistent results across everyday scenarios.
Paired with the AI Camera Button, the experience becomes instant. Capture, adjust, shoot again – all without breaking rhythm. Whether it’s a quick courtside snap or a content moment in motion, the device responds naturally. Built for full days that rarely slow down, the HONOR 600 Lite features a 6520mAh battery with 45W HONOR SuperCharge. From content capture to streaming and sharing, it keeps going without interruption. Its battery durability adds a layer of long-term value, giving users confidence that performance holds up well beyond the first impression. In Mzansi, where life moves fast and unpredictably, that kind of reliability matters.
Slim, Strong and Styled for Real Life
The HONOR 600 Lite makes an entrance without needing to announce itself. Ultra-slim, lightweight and crafted with a metal-forged unibody frame, it feels refined in hand while remaining strong where it counts. With 1.8m drop resistance and SGS Premium Performance Certification of Drop & Crush Resistance, it offers first-in-class durability. The 6.6-inch full-view display, framed by ultra-narrow bezels, delivers a bright, immersive viewing experience reflects what matters most to people across Mzansi.
The HONOR 600 Lite reflects what matters most to people across Mzansi, a device that brings together premium design, style, performance and real value in one seamless experience,” said Fred Zhou, CEO of HONOR South Africa. “We’ re seeing strong interest in AI content creation tools, like the AI camera Button to make the new tech seamless. Powered with an incredible upgraded battery, people can enjoy the experience a lot longer. “
From courtside reactions to quick-fire content moments and live shoutouts on YFM, the device became part of the day’s rhythm, capturing not just what was happening, but how it felt in the moment. As the day developed, one thing became clear. The HONOR 600 Lite doesn’t need to pause the moment to prove itself. It moves with it, captures it and keeps going long after.
