HONOR Partners with SuperSport as Official Technology Partner for the MVP Talent Search

Leading smart device brand HONOR has announced an exciting partnership with SuperSport for the highly anticipated SuperSport MVP Talent Search – a groundbreaking reality show dedicated to discovering South Africa’s next generation of sports broadcasting and commentary talent.
As the official device partner, HONOR will equip all contestants with the HONOR X7d smartphones throughout their stay in the MVP Talent Search camp in Southern Sun Rosebank, enabling them to capture, create, and connect like true professionals.
The show showcases the intense journey of twenty (20) aspiring broadcasters as they compete for the coveted title of South Africa’s next sports media MVP.
The SuperSport MVP Talent Search, first aired on Sunday, 26 October 2025 at 21:00 CAT on SuperSport Variety 4 (DStv 209) and Mzansi Magic (DStv 161). The partnership underscores HONOR’s commitment to empowering creativity and innovation among young South Africans by providing cutting-edge technology that supports storytelling, social engagement, and content creation.

Throughout the series, contestants will use their HONOR X7d devices to document behind-the-scenes moments, create content for digital challenges, and engage with fans online—offering audiences an authentic, real-time glimpse into their experiences inside the house.
The SuperSport MVP Talent Search features an elite panel of hosts, judges, and mentors including Tshego KokeHope MbheleNeil AndrewsMotshidisi Mohono, and guest judges such as Smash AfrikaCarol Tshabalala, and Nelisiwe Sibiya.
Together with HONOR, SuperSport is set to redefine how South Africans experience the making of sports media stars.
