ADIDAS BY STELLA MCCARTNEY TRANSFORMS MODULAR DRESSING WITH SPRING SUMMER 2025 COLLECTION

Today, adidas by Stella McCartney unveils its first drop for Spring Summer 2025. Advancing the evolution of modular dressing for next-gen athletes, the edit fuses functionality with transformative style to embolden self-expression.

Designed to support an active lifestyle, mix-and-matchable pieces and packable silhouettes can be seamlessly integrated for effortless versatility. A highlight garment is the multi-purpose backpack jacket, which includes a zippered compartment that athletes can open to wear as a jacket or alternatively fold to reveal inner straps to form a rucksack.

Taking inspiration from the rich heritage of collegiate sportswear with a contemporary twist, the collection features a preppy blend of classic navy, grey melange and primary red, contrasted against vibrant neon and acid yellow hues. A statement print is inspired by the interplay of earth and water, adding dynamic texture to jackets and tracksuits.

All pieces are made in part with recycled materials, and weaving in adidas performance technologies such as RAIN RDY and AEROREADY to support athletes as they move.

Speaking about the adidas by Stella McCartney SS25 collection, Stella McCartney said:

“When we started adidas by Stella McCartney, I wanted to support our community in expressing their individuality through pieces that do not compromise on style for sport. This modular collection innovates that vision for the next generation, with a versatile approach of combining high-fashion design, high-performance technologies and dynamic layers for the ultimate self-expression. I cannot wait to see how our community brings this collection together in their own way.”

TWO TONE ZIPPED CROP

Athletes can elevate their style with this racerback top, featuring a bold two-tone design and modern cutouts that pay homage to futuristic-yet-vintage sports fashion. Crafted in part with recycled materials, its form-fitting silhouette offers a supportive, second-skin feel, while the full-zip front ensures a comfortable fit. Available in black, classic navy, washed-out neon yellow and pink, this top is perfect for mixing and matching with other pieces in the collection.

TWO TONE LEGGINGS

These full-length leggings feature AEROREADY technology to keep athletes cool and dry, alongside a functional floating waistband panel for added storage solutions. Blending style and support, they include side pockets and a sleek two-tone design in black, classic navy, washed-out neon yellow and pink. The leggings are made in part with recycled materials.

The SS25 collection is available from 13th February on www.adidas.co.za/adidas_by_stella_mccartney and via the adidas app.
