Kehlani Releases “Folded Homage Pack”

Five-time GRAMMY Award-nominated and multiplatinum artist Kehlani honors her chart-topping single “Folded” with the release of the “Folded Homage Pack”, out today via Atlantic Records. The special project features new reimaginings of “Folded” by R&B icons Toni Braxton, Brandy, JoJo, Mario, Ne-Yo, and Tank, each bringing their own signature soul to the celebrated anthem.

Following the success of her stripped-down rendition “(un)Folded”, Kehlani continues to celebrate the song’s extraordinary run. The “Folded Homage Pack” reimagines one of 2025’s defining R&B songs through the lens of six legends, underscoring the song’s timelessness and Kehlani’s place in a lineage of fearless, emotionally resonant storytellers.

Originally released in early 2025, “Folded” has become one of Kehlani’s biggest hits to date, amassing over 268 million global streams and reaching #2 overall on Apple Music, #1 on Apple Music’s R&B charts in both the U.S. and U.K., and #18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track also soared to #1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay Chart, #2 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs, #2 on Hot R&B Songs, and #3 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, while dominating both Rhythmic and Urban radio. On TikTok, “Folded” continues to thrive with hundreds of thousands of fan videos, further solidifying its cultural moment.

The new project arrives as Kehlani celebrates another remarkable year. Her fourth full-length album, CRASH, earned a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album, while the breakout single “After Hours” was nominated for Best R&B Performance and has surpassed 277 million streams. In 2024, Kehlani captivated more than 150,000 fans nationwide on her sold-out tour, headlining major arenas including Barclays Center (Brooklyn), Chase Center (San Francisco), and the Kia Forum (Los Angeles). She also earned a third GRAMMY® nomination this year for her feature on Jordan Adetunji’s viral global hit “Kehlani.”

Beyond her recent milestones, Kehlani’s artistry has long defined the sound and spirit of modern R&B and pop music. Thus far, she has earned more than 20 Gold and Platinum RIAA certifications and amassed over 5 billion streams worldwide. Beyond blockbuster collaborations with Cardi B, Post Malone, Justin Beiber and Eminem, she’s appeared on soundtracks such as Suicide Squad: The Album and The Fate of the Furious: The Album. She received the “Rule Breaker Award” from Billboard Women In Music and has performed at major festivals including Voodoo Music and Coachella, further cementing her as one of the most versatile and emotionally honest voices in contemporary music.
